Sunbury Press implements ‘try-me’ pricing for eBooks

Sunbury Press, a publisher of eBooks and trade paperbacks, has announced lower prices for its fiction eBooks by lesser-known authors. The move greatly lowers the consumer’s risk in trying many of the new authors signed by the rapidly-growing house and provides an option, at the same price, to most self-published works flooding the market.

“With a Sunbury product”, said publisher Lawrence Knorr, “you can be confident you are downloading well-written, properly-edited, high-quality entertainment for your money, unlike many self-published works.”

Sunbury offers the authors it selects many of the features of a traditional publisher, without charging them, like the vanity presses and author service bureaus.

“We offer a win-win proposition for the author who enjoys writing, but does not want to or cannot handle the rest of the effort to bring a finished, polished product to market,” added Knorr.

Authors selected for the new program include:

Thomas Malafarina, author of numerous horror books including ’99 Souls’, ’13 Nasty Endings’, ‘Burn Phone’ and ‘Eye Contact’.

Patrick J. F. Quere, author of ‘Grognard’.

Mike Breslin, author of ‘Robbing the Pillars’.

Joseph Tarone, author of ‘Some Stones Shine.’

Missi McLaren, author of ‘Chronicles of the Amazing Broken Girl’.

Duane Feagley, author of ‘Black Emeralds’.

J Cedric Watkins, author of ‘Miranda’.

Lawrence Knorr of Sunbury Press hatched a scheme relating Beau Bruneau’s murder of Nancy, his mother, for a publicity stunt regarding my novel “Grognard”. I have not seen Beau Bruneau since 2001. Knorr has known this but he persisted in hopes of book sales and movie rights. Because I am coming forward with this information, Sunbury Press has issued me a termination letter and relinquished all rights back to me for print, film, and all other media, etc. I am up for solicitation with a legitimate publisher. I am a freelance author now. All correspondence between you and other media outlets regarding Beau Bruneau’s connection with the murder of his mother, Nancy Bruneau, as a copycat killing taken from my novel “Grognard”, is a complete and total fabrication devised by Lawrence Knorr of Sunbury Press. Lawrence Knorr and Sunbury Press are unethical and will stop at nothing to fabricate lies to capitalize on other peoples’ tragedies. If you need further information please do not hesitate to contact me at pquere@hotmail.com
    Sincerely, -Patrick.
