Summer Career Camps at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg
Now in its third year, QUEST is a summer day-camp that will take place in June on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. Each day will include hands-on activities, featured speakers and career information.
You can attend all five sessions or just on the days that interest you the most.
STUDENTS: Choose the Camp that’s Right for you!
Discovery 101 – Tuesday, June 21
This one-day camp is designed for the undecided student. The day will include activities, interest inventories, and a panel of professionals speaking about a wide range of careers.
Pathways to Professions – June 27-30
These theme-based one day camps are designed for the student with an interest in a particular career area. Each day provides hands-on activities and an overview of career options within a particular field. Themes for 2011:
* Environmental & Green Careers
* Communication Arts
* Healthcare & Rehabilitation
* Sports-related Careers
CAMP INFORMATION:
Hours: 8:30am-4pm
Participants: First priority will be given to students entering grades 9-11 in fall of 2011.
Meals: Lunch and snacks provided.
Housing/Transportation: Not provided.
Cost: $25/day. Approximately 50 scholarships available. Registration: Online registration will be available starting April 8, at www.greensburg.pitt.edu/QUEST
