Pair charged with aggravated identity theft

Federal authorities said that Colleen Lyons, 36 years of age, and Derrick Baxter, 26 years of age, were charged by indictment with conspiracy, access device fraud, and aggravated identity theft.

If convicted the defendants face a maximum possible sentence of 39 years’ imprisonment and a $1,250,000 fine.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the United States Secret Service, with the assistance of the West Whiteland Township Police Department, the Philadelphia Police Department, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Delaware State Police and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney K.T. Newton.

An indictment or information is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
