Judge sentences man to 5 years for role in drug ring

In an announcemnt made by U.S. Attorney David J. Hickton, Jordan McKoy, 20 years of age, was sentenced in federal court for violating federal narcotics trafficking laws. McKoy was sentenced to serve 60 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release.

Federal authorities said that from January 2010 to March 3, 2011, McKoy conspired to distribute and possess with intent to distribute at least 100 grams of heroin.

Assistant United States Attorney Craig W. Haller prosecuted this case on behalf of the United States.
