Colorado fire update, Colorado Springs, Boulder, Flagstaff, High Park

The Waldo Canyon Fire near Colorado Springs, has now burned 18,500 acres and is 5% contained, while about 32,000 people remain out of their homes. Reports are estimating about 300 homes have been destroyed.

Near Boulder, the Flagstaff fire has burned about 300 acres and is 30% contained. Rain in the area has alleviated some of the evacuation threat from this fire and pre-evacuation notices had been lifted for south Boulder neighborhoods.

The High Park fire west of Fort Collins, Colorado is now 75% contained and has burned 87,284 acres.
