Authorities said that Eric Durah, 36 years of age, was sentenced in federal court for violating federal firearms laws and the conditions of his federal supervised release.
Durah was sentenced to serve 10 years (120 months) in prison followed by three years of supervised release by United States District Judge Arthur J. Schwab.
According to authorities on January 7, 2011, Durah transferred a firearm to a person he knew was under indictment for a felony crime. Durah was also sentenced to serve one year (12 months) in prison, to be served consecutively to the 10-year prison term referenced above, for violating the conditions of his supervised release that were imposed as part of prior federal drug trafficking and firearms convictions and sentences.
