Man sentenced to 5 years for heroin trafficking conspiracy

According to federal authorities, Denorris Mahone, III, 20 years of age, originally of Pittsburgh was sentenced on June 27, in federal court for violating federal narcotics trafficking laws.

Mahone was sentenced to serve 60 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release by United States District Judge Arthur J. Schwab.

Authorities said that from January 2010 to March 3, 2011, Mahone conspired to distribute and possess with intent to distribute heroin.
