One of the Reuters news service Twitter accounts is under investigation after it was hacked Sunday. After someone took control of the account they changed the account details and began sending what sources said were false tweets related to the civil uproar in Syria.
This is not the only time Reuters has had trouble with their online accounts. Sources said that their Web site was compromised Friday with false information about an interview.
More than 20 tweets were sent concerning false reports about Syria.
